Are you ready to streamline your SWIFT messaging processes and minimize errors? The purpose of this course is to introduce you to the most important functionalities surrounding trade processing, settlement, and SWIFT in SimCorp Dimension.

You will gain a deep understanding of fundamental concepts such as status levels, state controls, reversals, and trade enrichment. Through hands-on exercises, you will learn how to effectively handle trade confirmations, settlement instructions, and payment messages. By mastering the art of creating and sending SWIFT messages, you will be able to quickly identify and resolve errors, improving overall transaction reliability and reducing the need for rework

Key Learning Objectives:

Trade processing and settlement fundamentals

• Obtain an overview of key concepts in SimCorp Dimension as they pertain to trade processing and settlement.
• Gain knowledge of the trade lifecycle, particularly the trade capture and trade enrichment phases.
• Create and work with default settings and configurations for settlement processes within the system.

SWIFT messaging and trade confirmation

• Get an overview of the messaging network SWIFT for MT and MX messages.
• Develop the skills to generate and manage trade confirmations and settlement instructions effectively.
• Acquire the ability to set up and oversee monitors to track the flow of SWIFT MT messages within the trade processing dashboard.
• Gain insights into how auxiliary jobs and triggers operate and their role in automating the SWIFT process.
